  17. Have you ever obtained a CDROM full of EPSF clipart images with their
  18. filenames the maximum lenght of 8 characters?
  19.  
  20. This program is a helping tool for transfering PostScript Clip Art
  21. images. The basic function of this program is to copy PS files from
  22. devices like CDROMs, Streamers etc. (or any other storage devices) to
  23. any devices you wish (e.g. your hard drive). There are many useful
  24. features you've got in this program.

  26. The most important feature is obtaining a real title of each image, and
  27. renaming images' filenames to their true full lenght names. Do you ever
  28. get confused when trying to figure out what kind of image does a ClipArt
  29. file named 'CHRSMSTR.PS' or 'ARCHHOUS.EPS' represent?

  32. Did you know that each PS file contains a lot of information about
  33. itself:
  34.  - the original real name (not 'CHRSMSTR.PS' but 'Christmass Tree.ps')
  35.  - which program was an image created with
  36.  - a creation date
  37.

  39. With EPSRename you are able to copy PS files, to rename files with their
  40. real names, to retrieve images' creation dates, and to put creator names
  41. in file notes.

  43. EPS Rename will also check each file you select, whether it is a clipart
  44. PS file or not, and will skip all no-PS files.
